Assa dp4400 Snowman in Anchor Las 802-2 Padlock Body by Jordan the Locksmith

Condition: New old stock core with new pins, used padlock body

This custom ASSA dp4400 "Snowman" cutaway is mounted in a used Anchor Las 802-2 padlock body and cut away on both sides, with material taken from each side to individually expose each set of locking elements. The five split side pins are an absolute joy to witness, even more so in this beautiful Anchor Las padlock body. It is built around a new-old-stock core with a new set of pins.

This is a rare and beautiful combination designed for continuous cycling and fidgeting. Jordan does not recommend picking this one; a lot of material has been removed, and the unnatural forces of picking it might damage certain parts. It is best enjoyed with the key as a display and study piece.

Jordan the Locksmith is a full-time locksmith and custom cutaway maker. He has been picking locks since around 2010 and has worked professionally as a locksmith since 2017. Jordan began making cutaways in 2019 as a way to better understand lock mechanics and improve his own picking, starting with simple hand tools before moving into more precise mill work.
