Assa Twin V-10 KIK in Schlage PL2741 Padlock Body by Jordan the Locksmith

Condition: New old stock body, used like-new core with new pins

This custom ASSA Twin V-10 KIK cutaway is mounted in a Schlage PL2741 padlock body and cut away on both sides, intricately displaying the internal mechanisms of the V-10 core and the Schlage padlock from both sides. It pairs a new-old-stock body with a used, like-new core and a new set of pins, and includes the original boxes.

This piece is great for cycling, but under no circumstances should a pick enter this lock. While skeletal, it is still cut to perform well when cycling; picking will most likely damage it due to the forces being applied in ways it was not designed for. It is intended for display, mechanical study, and key cycling only.

Jordan the Locksmith is a full-time locksmith and custom cutaway maker. He has been picking locks since around 2010 and has worked professionally as a locksmith since 2017. Jordan began making cutaways in 2019 as a way to better understand lock mechanics and improve his own picking, starting with simple hand tools before moving into more precise mill work. His cutaways are made to remain functional, clearly expose the internal mechanics, and hold up to real hands-on use.
